Official Brand Ambassadors

The Karamojo Ambassador is not a title given lightly. We only pick the best in their field of expertise to represent our brand. Perhaps more importantly, these individuals must embody one of our core values in all aspects of their lives - CHARACTER.

Meet the men responsible for living the Untamed Karamojo life every day - Rugged. Refined.

ambassadorsClayton Hergert
Lead Firearms Instructor - ATX Precision Carbine, Navy SEAL

A native of small-town Texas, Clayton had military aspirations from a young age and entered BUD/S training shortly after college, earning his SEAL Trident in 2002.

A fifteen year veteran of both East and West Coast SEAL teams, Clayton has led men and women on multiple combat deployments in some of the hottest vacation spots across the globe.

As a graduate of the rigorous USMC Scout Sniper Basic Course, Clayton’s experience and passion for long range marksmanship inspired him to found ATX Precision in Austin, TX. His extensive leadership experience in developing strategy in high pressure environments make him an essential member of the Karamojo team.

A dedicated family man, Clayton met his wife Brooke while serving in Afghanistan where she was flying CH-47 Chinook helicopters and planning Air Assault missions. They live in Austin with their two sons, and quite frankly we’re envious of those genetics.

Nick Klein
Associate Firearms Instructor, Navy SEAL

Originally hailing from Chicago, Nick left the peaceful shores of Lake Michigan for much more active beach vacations as a member of the Naval Special Warfare community.

A veteran of SEAL Team 8, Nick served several deployments to Africa providing foreign partner forces with high risk marksmanship training, unconventional warfare and hand-to-hand combat tactics.

An experienced warrior with tangible knowledge of the African bush, Nick provides the Karamojo design team with expert feedback concerning practical applications of our gear in foreign environs.

A transplant Texan, Nick currently resides in Austin and serves as an associate instructor at ATX Precision. When not on the range, Nick can be found chasing dangerous game at Austin’s local hotspots while searching for the finest Manhattan in town.
